FAQ

  • Shipping Details

    • Our products are vacuum sealed, frozen, and shipped with dry ice within a 2-day transit time. 
    • A fee of $20 will be added to each order of perishible goods to cover the cost of the insulated shipping container and packing  material.
    • All orders are sent on Tuesdays, please ensure someone is available to receive the package and properly store the contents.
    • We ship in a biodegradable foam container.
    • We DO NOT ship to Post Office (PO) boxes.
    • If you are outside the 2-day window for UPS Ground from our farm, you must select Expedited Shipping.

  • Food Safety

    • Food safety is paramount to us. While we strive to ensure your order arrives frozen, it is possible that a portion of your order may arrive partially thawed.
    •  If any of your order is warm to the touch upon arrival, send your order number along with photos of the packaging and the item with the label to support@sustainable-meats.com, and then discard that portion of the order. We will take the necessary steps internally to identify the problem and work with you for a reasonable resolution.

  • Returns and Complaints

    • Once meat leaves our farm, we are not able to accept returns. Once it leaves our farm, we are unable to guarantee that the product is safe for resell if it were returned.
